Ruth has raised a staggering £4352.53 by running 100k over the last year, including; the Great North Run and the London Marathon.
Funds raised at the pre-season race night.
Sum raised at the Club's Presentation night in 2012. A similar sum will be donated to Diabetes UK. The annual event usually celebrates the achievements of the players and saw the inaugural presentation of the Mark Dufton Memorial Cup to Dylan Schofield. The new award will be presented to the junior player of the year each year in memory of Mark. The award was kindly donated by his brother David, who travelled over from Hong Kong to present the award. The night allowed us to remember and celebrate the contribution to the club of Mark and also David Fenton who both passed away in 2012.
Thank you to Paul Senior, Dad's work colleague from NG Bailey, who did the Great Wilderness Challenge to raise money for Dad's tribute fund. It's lovely to know that Dad is still very much remembered by all.
Julie and Mandy have raised a staggering £1506.25 by doing the 10km Starlight Hike at Temple Newsam in September. Thank you to everyone who donated so generously.
Including; Julie's work Direct Line, Baileys Maintenance, June, Phil and Kate McBurney, Alison Riley, Angela Naughton and Andrea Eastcott. Thank you everyone!
Thank you to everyone who donated to Wheatfields Hospice at the funeral, Dad hated waste and didn't want flowers, so he would be so pleased at how much was raised.
Dad received an award for his hardwork at NG Bailey in January and donated it to Wheatfields.
Dad worked for NG Bailey for 12 years, and they kindly donated £1000 to Wheatfields after he passed away.
Dad's brother donated £1000 to show his appreciation of the care the hospice gave to Dad.
